Chess rate $48 OPEN Section, 6 SS G/75, 90, 120 Registration: 8:00 ~ 9:15 am. Time Control: Rounds 1&2 – Game in 75 minutes; Rounds 3&4 – Game in 90 minutes; Rounds 5&6 – Game in 120 minutes. Rounds: 9:30am – 1 pm - 3:30 - 7:30 pm; 9 am - 2pm.
Entry Fee: $50, $25/under 19 for half prize and half count. Prize ($$ b/50): 1st $400, 2nd $240; 1st A, B, C, D, E & below - $160; Unrated $120; Upset Prize $40. Trophies to top 3 finishers. Entry fee: $10, USCF membership required, may be purchased at the tournament. Registration: 8:30 - 9:15am. The first place finisher qualifies for the Denker Tournament of State HS Champions and the top finishing girl qualifies for the Polgar (Best girl from each state) Tournament. The Denker and Polgar are in Cherry Hill, New Jersey at the site of this year’s US Open (July 28-August 5, the Denker and Polgar run from Sunday to Friday). Qualifiers are able to play in the US Open as well.
