May 22: Second Annual Tommy’s Famous Chess Tournament
What is offered: Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Overall, and the opportunity to play in a rated USCF event. A gift certificate to Tommy’s Famous Pizza will also be awarded to the first place winner! NEW: Trophy for 1st place Team. A team can be a school, city, family, business and/or chess club(etc). Top three scores count for top team award.
When & Where: Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 at the Mountain View High School.
Format: 6 rounds G-25 (25 minutes on each clock) using Swiss pairings. Entry Fee: Scholastic Players $2, Adults $5. USCF membership required. If under 24 years old and without USCF membership, entry fee* will be $7.
